What Was That Pill You Found?

It's every parent's nightmare -- that you will find a stash of drugs in your child's room. Or perhaps it's your partner, or someone else you care about, that you think might be using drugs. There is now a simple way to find out what that pill was that you found.
I read about this resource on Trisha Torrey's Patient Empowerment Guidesite. You find a pill, you don't know what it is, you simply look it up online at RxList Pill Identifier or Drugs.com Pill Identifier. Couldn't be simpler. Of course, if you are unable to identify the pill or capsule, you still don't know whether it is an illicit drug, such as ecstasy, a counterfeit drug, which could also be harmful, or an alternative remedy. In any event, your child, partner, friend or relative has some explaining to do.
It can come as a shock to find out that a loved one is using drugs, but there is much you can do to help them and yourself.
