Remember Timmy Grins, the rapper who warned of the personal consequences of drunk driving?
Well, his movie, "Last Call," will be shown at the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival this weekend, as part of the music video category. Timmy will also be a panelist in a discussion on the blend of artistry and activism. Grins is being seated on the panel as result of his gallant music oriented street corner works in his neighborhood of Clay Street in Annapolis, Maryland. This will be Timmy's first appearance in Chicago since being recognized as one of Oprah Winfrey's "Heroes" in December 2010.
I wish Timmy well and applaud his efforts to raise awareness of how drunk driving affects the driver, as well as the victims.
