Definition: Front-loading is the practice of binge-drinking usually highly concentrated alcoholic beverages prior to going out to a drinking establishment, such as a pub, bar, or nightclub. The intention of front-loading is to become intoxicated prior to going out, to allow the drinker to experience drunkenness, while avoiding consequences of public drinking, such as being caught drinking under-age, or to avoid paying inflated prices at drinking establishments.
